I wanted to explore how different drugs can alter perception, behavior, body language and the way reality itself seems to feel.

Each character in this short film represents a different altered state, translated through acting, lighting, camera movement, sound design and visual perception.

Can you recognize which substance each character represents?

This was mainly an experiment in subjective cinematography: instead of simply showing someone “under the influence,” I wanted the filmmaking itself to reflect what that character might be experiencing.
